Dr. James Vitale, D.Ac

Dr. James Vitale, D.Ac., has dedicated his life to health, fitness, and the healing arts. His journey began with years of study and immersion in Japan and China, where he deepened his understanding of traditional Eastern medicine. 

Upon returning to his Long Island roots, Dr. Vitale has spent over 20 years serving the community, offering a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. His expertise spans Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, NAET, Nutrition, and Qigong. To stay at the forefront of his practice, Dr. Vitale continues to travel to Japan, furthering his studies in acupuncture, healing techniques, and martial arts.

Dr. Vitale's specialization in fertility was inspired by his own personal challenges with conception. Having experienced the heartbreak of infertility and the profound joy of a successful pregnancy and childbirth, he empathizes deeply with the struggles couples face. It has become his mission to help others overcome these obstacles and realize their dream of parenthood.

With his unique blend of professional expertise and personal experience, Dr. Vitale is committed to empowering patients on their journey to health, healing, and family-building.

Joanne Duran is a Licensed practical nurse for the last 25 years. She received her LPN certificate from Eastern Suffolk BOCES on Long lsland in New York.

Joanne also received as Associates degree from New York College of Health Profession's for Massage Therapy. She Became a certified yoga teacher through New York College as well. She has done massage and taught fitness and yoga at the Ed and Phyllis Davis Wellness Center for 12 years and has also taught for the Shinnecock Nation at the Preschool for children and in the community for Southampton privately for adults.

Joanne is also a Reiki Master through New York College. This has enhanced all aspects of healing therapies in Joann's practice.

Joanne is also an AFAA certified Group fitness instructor and has led many different styles of fitness classes for the Wellness center at Southampton Hospital and Jefferson Ferry.

Joanne became a Licensed acupuncturist and a diplomate of acupuncture in 2017 and has received her doctorate degree from Pacific College of Health and Science. She has worked independently and for Stonybrook Southampton hospital. She has also worked for Dr. Groth at Groth Pain and Spine in Centereach, NY and now is currently working at Suffolk County Acupuncture under the tutelage of Dr. James Vitale.

Fertility Care Advocate & Coach (RN)

Kalli Rose Kelley is a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience across various healthcare settings. Now specializing as a Fertility Care Advocate & Coach, she combines her clinical background with personal experience navigating infertility to provide compassionate, individualized support. As a former patient of Suffolk County Acupuncture, Kalli understands the emotional and physical challenges of fertility treatment firsthand. She offers personalized coaching, education, and emotional guidance while helping patients stay accountable to the lifestyle and wellness recommendations that support their reproductive goals—ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and truly cared for throughout their journey.

Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Diane earned her degree from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York City and has been practicing massage therapy for nearly 20 years. For more than a decade, she has worked locally alongside holistic practitioners, bringing a collaborative and well-rounded approach to her work. Diane holds additional certifications in pre- and postnatal massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, and manual lymphatic drainage (MLD). Her experience, skill set, and thoughtful perspective make her a valued addition to our team.
